Shipping and Returns

Ground Shipments

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and USPS Priority Mail at our discretion and at the discretion of the fulfillment warehouses.

Expedited Orders

Expedited orders must be received by 1 PM Eastern for same day shipping. Orders received after this time will be shipped the following day. 3rd Day, 2nd Day and Next Day shipping times are counted from the day after shipment (ex. if ordered Monday before 1 PM, 3 Day shipping would deliver on Thursday, 2 Day on Wednesday, and Next Day on Tuesday), and do not apply to weekends.

We will attempt to contact you regarding shipping and handling fees greater than the online estimation; however since delivery time is the critical concern for such orders, they may be processed and shipped without regard to under-calculated online shipping and handling estimations. Make sure to include a good contact phone number where we can reach you. IMPORTANT! Note that multiple item orders may ship from more than one location. Because of this, expedited shipping costs can sometimes be much more than quoted by our online calculator. In such situations we will do our best to contact you by phone to discuss economizing options.

Common Carrier Shipments

Damage and short shipments are very unusual, but do occur. It is VERY IMPORTANT to inspect all items when received for shortage or damage before signing the delivery receipt. BuyFurnaceParts.com is not responsible for these occurrences. At a minimum, you should note any product shipment shortage or item damage on the delivery receipt before signing it. Once reported in this manner, shortages and damaged items are the sole responsibility of the carrier. If the goods are damaged the shipment should be refused at the time of delivery. If you accept delivery and later find damage, you are fully responsible for filing a claim with the shipping company. If not reported at time of delivery on the delivery receipt, an approved claim of shipping damage or shortage is very unlikely. We will assist you in anyway possible with shortage/damage claims where the shortage and/or damage has been properly noted on the delivery receipt.

Returning Merchandise


Refunds Due to Customer Error:

  • For any return or refund due to customer error (i.e. ordering an incorrect item), customer will be responsible for shipping to us and will be charged a 25% restocking fee, on top of the original shipping costs incurred to BuyFurnaceParts.com. BuyFurnaceParts.com will not refund the customer for the shipping cost incurred to ship the product back to us. In addition, customer will also be charged the original shipping cost to send the original item to them.  
  • Example: Customer buys an item that costs $100 and no longer wants the item and wants a refund. The customer has to pay the shipping costs of returning the product + $25 (25% Restocking Fee) + $15 (Original Shipping Fee), so the total refund would be $60
  • All refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receiving returned merchandise. Bank processing times may vary, it may take up to 5 business days after the refund is processed to actually post to your account.
  • All customers will be required to provide an image of the original box received to show what item was received based on the information printed on the box.

Returns Due to a BuyFurnaceParts.com Error:

  • For any return or refund due to a mistake made by BuyFurnaceParts.com (i.e., we shipped out the wrong item), we will pay for shipping back to us and will not charge a restocking fee, or original shipping fees.

Requesting a Return:

  • All returns REQUIRE an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number.
  • Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted. BuyFurnaceParts.com will not be responsible if package should become lost, destroyed or cannot be found.
  • Once RMA number has been obtained, you will receive an e-mail confirmation which will need to be printed and enclosed within the box before shipping to us.
  • You will be notified by email once your return has been received, inspected and your refund processed.  We process all refunds within 48 hours of receiving authorized returned merchandise, Monday - Friday. The time it takes your bank to actually post the refund to your card varies, and is typically within 5 business days. In case of a full refund, we will only refund the item price, we will not refund the shipping fee.


  • We will waive the restocking fee if the customer does an exchange for another item instead of a refund!
  • The customer must pay for all shipping costs of both items that are ordered.
  • Example: Customer buys an control board and wants to exchange the item. The customer has to pay the shipping costs of returning the product + the $9.99 (Original Shipping Fee of the 1st Item) + the $9.99 (Shipping Fee of the 2nd Item)

For your peace of mind, we offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee on all the non-electrical parts and accessories we sell. If you are dissatisfied for any reason with the non-electrical products you receive, items are fully refundable (not including actual shipping costs and processing fees *) if returned in new, unused, re-sellable condition. Although most parts come with manufacturer warranties we do not handle warranty claims.

To be authorized, returns must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase or 10 days of receipt of order, whichever is later. Non-defective returned merchandise must be in original packaging and must be delivered in new and unused condition which allows it to be resold. All shipping charges and processing fees will be deducted from any credit due on all returned merchandise. All product orders are considered valid until canceled. Orders not canceled with cancellation acknowledged by BuyFurnaceParts.com prior to shipping will incur shipping charges and processing fees when merchandise is returned as per above. 

Order Changes & Cancelation

We understand mistakes in ordering happen. We do our best to catch and correct mistakes by making attempts to contact the customer. We also make every effort to make changes to an order that a customer requests before an order ships. Due to our commitment to fulfilling orders as quickly as possible, however, it is very important to contact us right away by phone or email if you need changes made to your order.

Changing Quantities & Items

If after placing an order on BuyFurnaceParts.com, you need to change quantities, add or remove items for your order which affect the total cost, you have 12 hours to contact us by phone or email with the desired changes, unless your order has already shipped. Any order that has not already shipped and is older than 12 hours, cannot be changed.

Order Cancellation

Should you need to cancel an order, you have up to the time of shipment to do so with a complete refund for most items. Some items ordered may require a restocking fee, even before shipment, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
